My name is Matt Lupton-Levy. I'm a peripatetic music teacher based in Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire and I cover all towns in the Calder Valley and those within a twenty mile radius. I can also offer Skype lessons.

I have over 18 years experience as a music teacher in the local area working in primary, secondary, further and adult educational centres. I am fully qualified with a B.A. Hons degree in Music and as a supply teacher I am regularly CRB checked.

I give one to one lessons, small group and workshops in piano, guitar, bass and singing. I focus on making each practice session count to make the moment when your playing becomes effortless arrive sooner.

As well as learning pieces for the classical repertoire and ASB grades, I also cover Rockschool, improvisation and composition.Classes can be one to one, small groups or workshops and can be held in private homes, community centres, schools or other suitable venues.

With a wide experience of teaching adults and children, all programmes of study are designed around the individual and  focus on those areas most in need of attention.

Additionally, I spent several years teaching adult interest groups and people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and mental health issues, running workshops in singing, percussion, guitar and keyboard, loop recording and creative multimedia and performing arts projects.
